Homecoming and Gospel Meeting is set for November 9-12. Brother Bryant Evans of Eastern Shore Church of Christ will be doing the preaching in this effort. Brother Evans has been at the Daphne congregation for many years and is doing a great work. He works with the Preacher training school in Lethem, Guyana also.  

Congratulations to Sheena and Oscar Locklin in the birth of Hattie Elizabeth who weighed 10 pounds and 4 ounces. Sheena and baby are doing fine. She was born August 12th .

Prison Ministry news. Monday night class continues. This week we will be studying Matthew 25. Jerry and Rummie are trying to get into the main prison for a Sunday afternoon service at 5 P.M.

Roger Dixon has been made Mentor of the 12 Steps Celebrate Recovery group at Bibb County Correctional. This is a group of men who are working there to rehabilitate the inmates.

Wednesday study of Luke 9 & 10 in adult class. Devotional by Lewie Joe Smith.

Program of Daily Bible Reading: Monday Acts 3; Tuesday Acts 4; Wednesday read in class; Thursday, Matthew 2; Friday, Matthew 3 ; Saturday, Matthew 4.
